unless they removed his testicles then theres still always a chance he could father children but radiation treatment dramatically reduces fertility.

You never know! He needs to get a sperm count. It's the easiest and non invasive. He just has to you-know-what into a cup and rush the sample to the lab, I think within 30 minutes. Make an appointment first, of course.

If your boyfriend had chemo for his cancer chances are he would not be able to have children.

Very remotely possible. He needs to consult a urologist, preferably one who specializes in fertility problems. A sperm count could possibly answer your concern. With colon cancer at age fifteen, I would suspect that your BF had familial polyposis. Inheritance patterns vary, but most are dominantly inherited, meaning that some of your children would be similarly affected. You might consider genetic counseling prior to deciding to have children.
