she could have had it in her family, or just been prone to it. cancer doesn't just get ugly people..... people who dont' smoke can get lung cancer too......

cancer can invade any one, old, young, babies, ugly, pretty, men, woman, doctors, lawyers, priest, animals. there is no safe zone for cancer

Cancer I have learned plays no favorites. It seems it comes down to the genes you care most often. I just heard today that the same gene that will increase the risk of breast & prostrate cancer also is connected to colon cancer. Bottom line man or woman, rich or poor, ethenic background matters not. You walk this earth your at risk & there seems few positive answers to your question.
