It's rare but not unheard of. I recommend you get in to see a doctor ASAP.

Go to the doctor. Anyway even if you have the symptoms it may totally be something else. So, as i said visit your doctor and get it checked out properly. It's probably nothing or just minor. However, you could get cancer at any age but it is very unlikely. You are probably just anxious or something or have hypochondria or sumthin. Hope that helps! :)

yeah, but if you do then put this in past tense, other wise just present tense, you should drink more Cranberry juice!

if your family has a history of cancer, it is possible. still, you need to be checked by a doctor.

It would be unusual; 80% of cases are in people over 60. That's the trouble with looking up symptoms, suddenly we have them all. Most of the symptoms of colon cancer can also be due to other causes - the most common cause of bleeding, for example, is piles. But if you're worried you should see a doctor. Checking your family history won't help btw, unless it turns out several family members have had colon cancer. Fewer than 10% of all cancer cases - all types- are hereditary, and in the case of colon cancer it's 5%

My nephew just had his colon removed. Not cancer -perforated-would have beensays Dr.He had ulcerative colitis 3 yrs ago and was taking meds still. He drinks a lot of alcohol, mostly beer.He is now 31 yrs old. Please see a doctor and get an MRI. At least you will know or ease your mind.

Of course it is possible. but statistically the risk of developing colon cancer increases with age. Most cases occur in the 60s and 70s, while cases before age 50 are uncommon unless a family history of early colon cancer is present.

Dont research online for symptoms...it just causes anxiety. Just go to a doctor to be sure. Probably not even cancer, im 19 too and i used to worry about my health a lot. I once had a lump in my testicle and thought i had cancer. Turned out to be hernia. Just go to a doctor. :)

It is rare, but yes it is possible. It can happen. I was diagnosed last year when I was 20. And was told it was there for a couple of years at least. And i have no family history of it. If you have symptoms, do not ignore it. Go to your doctor, and keep going back until whatever problem you have is sorted.

My wife was recently at a cancer survivor meeting. They were fortunate to have a colon cancer surgeon as a guest speaker.. Someone asked him,. " what was the youngest cancer patient you have ever seen." Would you promise to see a doctor if the answer was "19."?

You should go to the doctor just in case. My aunt was diagnosed at age 35 but they had estimated she had had it for about 5 to 10 years. Please do not hesitate going to the doctor! It is a VERY treatable cancer if it is detected early.
