My friend has colon cancer and wears a colostomy bag. A hernia appeared below the stoma and grew to be large


My friend has colon cancer and wears a colostomy bag. A hernia appeared below the stoma and grew to be large.?
She thinks it is coming back but she said her Dr. said it was just where the nerves were cut. He told her it wouldn't come back. Does anyone know if a hernia comes back. Thanks

It is VERY common for hernias to come back. Has the doctor actually looked at it? They are kind of hard to miss. If it is getting larger it’s not the nerves. She needs to be insistent.
