You will need whatever testing your doctor orders based on what they find on physical examination. You will obviously need a colonoscopy.

The blood test is to see if you are anemic as this is an indication of a GI bleed. To test for cancer and/or to find the source of any bleeding in the GI track is done by colonoscopy and an EGD.
3 :
FOBT (fecal occult blood test) FIT (fecal immunochemical test) iFOBT (immunochemical fecal occult blood test) Other tests for Colon Cancer: Colonoscopy Virtual colonoscopy Double contrast barium enema (DCBE) Flexible sigmoidoscopy (flex-sig)
4 :
Anal Cavity Tests.
