After you have cancer in the colon,how long before it gets through the colon and into other places?
What I mean is,is it months or years,any estimates?

Unfortunatly it could take weeks. Depends on how aggressive the cancer is.If it's a slow growing cancer it could take a few months maybe a year for it to spread.

Factors of metastases include (but are not limited to) age, sex, hormones, location of the cancer, genetics and overall health. Only a physician with knowledge of all factors could give an educated guess as to the time it will take a certain cancer to spread.
