Not necessarily. Everyone's body is different, and it is probably just the way your body is at the moment. However, if you are worried enough, you can always go see a doctor just to be sure. Have a wonderful day.
2 :
It's not necessary to be 100% percent regular. If you're not eating a lot, sometimes you might skip a day. Your metabolism may change and affect the rate of your digestion. You might have a slight bout of constipation without having any problem with cancer. The fact that your stool comes in one piece simply means that it's firm enough that it all hangs together, and your anus is relaxed enough that it stays open long enough for it all to come out in one go. This is a sign that you're healthy and don't have any nervous condition prompting your anus to contract unnecessarily. The main warning sign of colon cancer is blood in the stool; specifically, blood from the colon area, which will look black and tarry when it reaches the exit and becomes visible. Blood from the anus and rectum will be red, and usually is caused by hemorrhoids, but chronic bleeding in this area should always be discussed with your doctor.

Go to your doctor! This is not something that can be solved with an online question. Rectal bleeding CAN be very serious and in some cases can lead to death. It could be caused by a number of things. This is not something that can be diagnosed over the internet. Sorry. Regardless of what it is, early intervention is always better that waiting to see what happens. I suggest you tell a parent and go to your doctor to get checked out as soon as possible.
2 :
Given your age.....the rectal bleeding could either be from a hemorrhoid (internal or external) or a stomach ulcer. If it's bright red it's probably a hemorrhoid or a polyp in the large intestine or colon and if it's a darker red the bleeding is coming from higher up like the stomach or small intestine. To be on the safe side.....check it out with a doctor.

Do I have Colon Cancer

Do I have Colon Cancer?
Recently my feces has been very loose, and there has been blood coming from my rectum. My boyfriend says it could be Colon Cancer! What do I do?!

See a doctor for a rectal exam.
2 :
Go to the doctor...
3 :
How old are you? I am guessing you are rather young. Loose stool doesn't signify colon cancer - you could have IBS. The blood is PROBABLY from hemorhoids. You might not be able to feel them or see them, but having loose, frequent bowel movements can aggravate them. Go to a gastroenterologist to be on the safe side, but I can pretty much tell you that it is nothing!
4 :
The short answer is as others have said: see your physician. The longer answer is that blood in loose or diarrhea stools is more commonly due to causes other than cancer, especially in a young person. Still, it needs to be diagnosed. Some possible causes, from http://adam.about.com/encyclopedia/Bloody-or-tarry-stools.htm : Lower GI tract (usually maroon or bright red, bloody stools): * Hemorrhoids * Anal fissures * Diverticular bleeding * Intestinal infection (such as bacterial enterocolitis) * Vascular malformation * Inflammatory bowel disease * Tumor * Colon polyps or colon cancer * Trauma or foreign body * Bowel ischemia (a lack of proper blood flow to the intestines)
5 :
if the blood is bright red then its unlikely to be cancer but piles. if its coming from further up then it is possible but depending on yr age its more likely to be a treatable bowel disease u should really visit yr gp as soon as possible as it takes a while to get an appointment with a specialist as i know from personal experience. good luck
6 :
I agree with the earlier answers in that there are many reasons. If it is bright red, it is probably due to hemorrhoids or a fissure. Depending on what is causing the loose stools, the inflammation itself can cause enough irritation that you may bleed. From bowel movement to another the blood may pool at the end of the rectum and then flow out at your next movement making it seem quite large and scary. Definitely go see your doctor as soon as possible for your piece of mind. I imagine it is just some inflammation. Good luck.
7 :
Go to the doctor and tell them very specifically, but calmly, what's going on with you. It might be cancer, but it probably isn't. It's all a matter of getting yourself checked out and the sooner you do it, the better. Good luck.
8 :
go to www.syntecshop.com/phin get SynGevity, SynBio and SynOmega its a powder form mix it with water and drink it. it will stop cancer cell from spreading and prevent cell mutation to be come cancer cell and stop colon cancer. its also repair DNA and boosts up your immune system
9 :
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms like fatigue, shortness of breath and irregular bowel movements; also experience some color changes in your stool, abdominal cramps and bloating, then you might want to go to your doctor to have your situation checked. Colon cancer symptoms may not really be seen on a first-hand basis. You may only see it after a long time that it has been there. You should be vigilant enough to pose questions relating to colon cancer when you go to the doctor. This will prepare you and let you know about what you could expect.

Colon cancer treatment

Colon cancer treatment?
will i be able to get treated after 6-8 weeks of having symptoms of colon cancer? i feel fine right now ... i read somewhere that colon cancer can be treated if it is detected early...how early?? i am 20 years old....no family history of colon cancer

“Early” refers to how advanced the cancer is not a specific amount of time. You will be treated regardless of the stage of disease, but it doesn’t mean you will survive. The chances of survival and cure diminish with the progression. So the sooner you get to the doctor the better your odds.
2 :
Early detection is important for any cancer (or disease, reallly). This Web guide has links to credible, legitimate sites that can help you learn about the different treatment options: http://www.findingdulcinea.com/guides/Health/Cancer/Colon-Cancer.topic__ss_categories_ss_health_ss_cancer_ss_colon-cancer.pg_01.html#01 Good luck, and I hope you continue to feel well.

Colon Pain : Colon Cancer

Colon Pain : Colon Cancer?
Can someone tell me if I have Colon Cancer or some kind of colon problems? I'm 22 and I'm a female. For years, I have been getting this sharp pain in my colon that comes and goes every now and then. I can say I probably experience this 12 times per year (spread out throughout the year). The pain feels like my colon is probably contracting or maybe like it's being stabbed by a knife, because it is very sharp feeling. It can come out of the blue, while I'm lying down, standing, or sitting and it stays for maximum of 5 seconds maybe. I've never inserted anything into that area and I don't ever use it for anything except bowel movements. I've never had hemerroids or any rectal bleeding or anything. I still have not gone to get it checked out. I looked up Colon Cancer symptoms on the internet and the symptom that I have is not among them, so I am really confused as to what may be happening. If this symptom may sound familiar to you can you please share with me what it may be? :^(

It's gas. However, go see a doctor.
2 :
Most cancers are not painful so it is highly unlikely that it is colorectal cancer. Because of it's frequency, you may want to consider a more "female" reason. Oftentimes there is "referred pain" when talking about internal structures, where pain is felt in another area than the actual problem. You said it happened about 12 times a year which may mean it is related to your hormone levels and/or menstrual cycle. Consider ovarian cysts or other Gyn possibilities, but you can probably not worry about the big "C"
3 :
Ultimately....I'd see a dr. In the meantime, you could try a natural colon cleanse. I took a series of pills....all natural from GNC. It took about three weeks, but I haven't had the problems that I was having since. The cost was about $30.
4 :
That disease would be highly unusual at your age.
5 :
I agree with David, but you may also be experiencing symptoms of an inflamed appendix as well. Pain is a sure sign you should be checked out by a doctor.
6 :
You need to go and get this checked out. Why make yourself nuts worrying about something without having a clue what you're worrying about? GO TO YOUR DOCTOR!
