It is absolutely possible. My grandfather had colon cancer that metastasized to his liver, bones and brain. The fact that your uterus, cervix and ovaries are in close proximity to your colon makes it very possible that it can metastasize to your cervix and/or ovaries. If you are having problems, you should follow-up with your medical oncologist so that they can order CT scans, PET scans, etc. Good luck. I hope that it turns out the cancer has not spread!

Colon cancer can metasticize. This is defined as stage 4 colon cancer. The colonoscopy will be able to tell, though, since any new tumor would have to penetrate the colon wall to come back in other areas. Talk with your doctor to see what he says--you need to find out what's going on, even if it isn't cancer.

The simple answer is yes, it can metastasize anywhere, but it is very rare for it to metastasize to any of the areas you mentioned. If you are a little young for menopause you are very young for colon cancer. You do not mention the stage of your cancer or your treatment, but if it was a stage 3 your colonoscopy could come back fine and it still could have metastasized. This is not how colon cancer is checked for mets.

Unfortunately, cancer can go where ever it darn well pleases just to put it plainly. My sister had breast cancer. Just before her 5 yr anniversary of being cancer free, she got brain tumors. Pathology on the tumors after removal showed breast cancer cells. So, yes, it can. I'm sorry, I pray you will be OK. God bless. ADD You know, I just read Denisedd, if she says no, chances are she's right.
